BP: Comedy Road Trip

BRIEF:

Working with Launch PR BP Ultimate created a season of content celebrating the great British road trip. Bespoke were approached to create a Hero film and teasers for the campaign and the challenge was to engage new viewers with comedy.

SOLUTION:

Bespoke proposed a mockumentary comedy approach, urging BP to step outside of their comfort zones to produce a series of minimally branded content whose primary focus was to entertain audiences with genuine comedy. Bespoke devised, wrote, cast, directed and edited the film starring comedy talent Mark Dolan. A mixture of scripted and improvised performances were shot documentary style over a three day period as the entire film unit travelled from London to Brighton together, getting hopelessly lost along the way. The resulting films were a runaway success, enjoying some of the highest viewing and engagement figures to date.
